As part of the 2009 Seevak Competition, the Carl Wilkens Seevak team dedicates this website to Carl Wilkens for his courageous choice to stay in Rwanda during the Rwandan Genocide, saving the lives of many.

After the Holocaust, the world reverberated with phrase "Never Again." And yet, genocide still occurs.

Here, we tell the story of one man, his courage, his action, and, most of all, his hope.

And we hope his story will inspire others. His actions, the actions of one person, saved so many; what can the actions of thousands do? How much good can they do?

Perhaps one day the stories of courage and hope will lead to action to end all genocide, and the reverberating phrase "Never Again," will never be proven false again.

But, for now, we hope that you, our viewers, are inspired by Carl Wilkins, just as we were.
